I am just redoing the audio where the bad songs are at. It will loose normal sound for that period of time but at least there is something there. It will be music that I make myself so Youtube can't say sh*t about that. As soon as it is done, I will let you know.

@LeRay - Had no doubt it would be a success with you at the reigns. Topic looks amazing and the participants seem some quality folks. Take it easy on them though, you don't want to dominate too bad the first week or they won't want to play with you anymore .

I am lucky that I do not have to deal with people all the time at my work. Mostly it is because they have no idea what I do, lol.
I kind of like working on Unix servers, no one can really tell me what to do.
Gameplay will come with time. There is a bit of a learning curve to driving in the game. If you want some pointers, let me know. I am not the greatest with bikes, I do drive the street bikes better than the Harley style though. Cars though I do really well at. I can show you some of the dynamics when we are on next. The biggest thing is learning when and how to use the e-brake. It is cool to powerslide(closest thing to drifting as far as vanilla GTA) around corners but it slows you down more than anything else. Best to take the corners from the apex like in real driving. Unless there is a lot of traffic, then the powerslide is kind of needed.
For heavy traffic areas, try to use the e-brake around any corner and if the rear end starts to go too far, that is when you use the normal brake. It is the controlling feature of the rear end for powersliding.

Only 30 more minutes and I survived this piece of sh*t day without strangling my boss. I am pretty sure there isn't a judge in the land that would convict me of bludgeoning him about the face and body. Sometimes people just need a good old fashioned ass whooping to remind them where they came from and to get them off their soap box.

@Grandal.: Sounds like you have one hell of a job and boss. I often encounter with these slow and boring days at work with nothing smart to do, but at least my boss does not give me sh*t and nags all the time. But sometimes, my job can be too stressful, since I depend on my everyday work and can get sacked every three to six months if I don't fulfil my tasks on time. Even so I have permanent contract with the firm.

Yes. I am often thinking about the same thing. Damn, was I stupid. My favorite time was in high school. I did not have much money, but I did get around. Had all the time to myself, not too many obligations, no stress, minimum pressure (comparing to now) and f*cking three months of free time from school during summer time, which I miss the most. Now, I am just another f*cking slave to the system.

When I was a teenager we didn't really have computers in even 5% of households. I rode around on my bike and hung out and snuck out at night to see girls, lol. Until I got my car, then it I was just driving around all the time.

Yeah, that's a good example of why the AoD aren't actively pursuing TDM's anymore. I bet you most of these kids don't even remember the time during 2008 when there weren't any turbos and mods, just glitches and players too honorable to use them. The term "graceful winner/loser" and the concept of respecting your opponent are also completely lost to them. It's not about the game anymore, it's about some sort of misplaced status.

What f*cking school did you go to?? High school was the worst time of my life... Wake up at 6:30, come home 16:30, homework 'til dinner, basketball practice after, then I'd maybe have an hour to myself... At school it was just kids who think they're hot sh*t, the shallowest kind, and learning about things I don't give a crap about. Deadlines, insomnia, heartbreak.

As soon as I got my diploma, I felt liberated. Got a job, a girlfriend, it felt like my life finally started. Now I work 8.5 hours a day, live 10 minutes from work so basically have 7 hours per day where I'm completely free to do whatever I want. Can buy whatever I wish for (luckily I don't have expensive taste ). Sure, I have different responsibilities (maybe a bit more, too), but there's so much more room to tackle them however I see fit. Not having a better half helps too.

High School life is all dependent on how strict your parents were Booze. It was just my mother and me, my dad lived a couple towns over so she was pretty open with me. She and I knew how long my leash was and she let me break it a couple times, without me knowing because she told me later in life that she did the same things. She just knew I had to feel like I was getting away with something.


Off topic question, whats with the Group: Members option under everyone's name? Is there a sticky I can go and see what the different Members groups are and what they mean?
