Hell, I checked Duke Nukem Forever's progress for a long time. Still looking forward to Half-Life 3 almost every day.

Exactly. How can R* be blamed for the "2405" theory not coming true?

They never promised it. As per usual people will over analyse anything and blow it out of proportion which is exactlywhat 2405 was.

They basically wasted 6 months of their lives believing in something the rest of us could see meant nothing at all.

The title is an oxymoron/paradox, idk the correct term. The reason being, a fan is an individual that likes something and is loyal towards it. So you see, true fans will never forget about GTAV even if they delayed it until 2018 on the next-gen consoles -- it comes with our responsibility for being a fan.

Personally, I am losing a little but of hype, but I am still interested in the game more than any other game.

There are not fans of Grand Theft Auto.
There are people who knows that this game revives every five years with a huge base and a lot of things to make everyone occupied for another five years.

I just don't like to use the word fan for it. I'd rather to say people who knows how to have fun with a game.

When Rockstar decides to launch another great bit of GTA V, everyone will be exhaling happiness and all the base that buys every single GTA game will be up again for new smart debates and discussions. Then, Rockstar will keep quiet for more months, probably, and the history will be repeated.

Has it been forgotten.......No its GTA that'll never happen. Self absorbed by now...I guess you could say the GTA franchise has become self aware and has begun to start swinging its dick around with some high and mighty chest pumping "I dont have to answer when I dont wanna"type of way through its past years of success, which is justifiable .

Listen I came here everyday in the days leading up to the release of IV, not so much after the press conference, but after the first trailer. It took a while for new info to come on IV as well after the press conference or it being divulged to the world, but it didnt take this long, there were more tid bits of info and solid rumors and the times were different. One major f*ckUP on R*'s part was the fact that they began V's life with a trailer which left us with more questions and leaving us more enticed than a f*cking fake tattoo and a promise of DLC exclusivity (supposedly not timed at the time).

Am I disgusted with R* ethics, and the way they left us there fans high and dry for more than half a year without any info not even so much as a status update or a paragraph of progress on the game AT ALL even after constant ranting and begging on the news wire, forums, and emails....... HELL YEAH

Sad part about it all is that I know that new info is coming soon like really soon, possibly next week or so , and that the true test is when You know its coming out how long can you bare the anticipation, this right now is just heart jerking. Bad enough we might have to worry about delays..........Rockstar Games has made a statement by there actions of silence on GTA V and its not good they lost a lot of charisma, and PR that might not be reclaimable I dont care how good V is..

Majority of our lives have been spent attending work, class, and going on google and typing in GTA V only to see on the news list many unneeded Patcher reports, hay house rumors, T2 fiscal theories for release dates, and most of all anger, loss of fans, and dissipating hype.

Type GTA on google and I guarantee an analyst report or a rant like this, or nothing


Just go outside and live up ur summer....simply put f*ck GTA V until further notice

June 5th is when E3 starts. They HAVE TO have something for that. Most likely a 2nd trailer as well as the release date, main character and plot.

I don't know why they would release the 1st trailer and then totally ignore it for 7 months though.

SO its safe to say from what im seeing Rockstar Games is in the sh*tter with majority of us GTA fans due to this absurd amount of time with silence. The proof is in the pudding, pudding being this thread.

Unless all of the millions of people that buy GTA games were in here complaining as well, I'd say that the ones whining are a very, very, very tiny minority.

Even if they were the majority, what would they do? Not buy it?

Nope, just most people go do something else until some more info comes out.

There are many things to do that are not GTA V related, go to the pub, socialise with friends, go to work, take a holiday, have a dump, eat some pie, get laid, re-arrange sock drawer, wathch internet porn, do some gardening, walk the dog, kick the cat, start smoking, quit smoking, play practical jokes on work mates, look for a new job.....

It will still be the best selling GTA of all time when it comes out. Anyone on here that says they wont buy it, is either stupid or a liar
