Yeah it did but I personally have no interest in buying a Kinect and would rather a game that took advantage of having a controller as its main control method (the original Podracer had some pretty tricky tracks if I remember).

Since apparently it's a new franchise I guess we won't be getting Battlefront III/Jedi Knight IV then. I wonder if we should be taking the 'SPIKE TV LAUNCHES INTO HYPERSPACE WITH THE WORLD PREMIRE OF THE NEXT BIG “STAR WARSTM” GAME FRANCHISE' literally though, perhaps we'll get a space battle game?

So it's not a new title for an existing IP, it's a brand new series. I hope to god it's good, it's been a very long time since i saw decent Star Wars game, the last in my opinion was Empire At War in 2006 and before that was Battlefront II in 2005. I was hoping it would be Battlefront 3 or hell maybe even Republic Commando 2 but if it's new they better make it damn good.

I heard the player count was dwindling as well so I really don't think another MMO would be good.

However if they were to pull something like MAG off (Better though) and have huge scale battles in the star wars word that would be f*cking awesome.

I hope it doesn't suck like Force Unleashed did. I read part of what I think was the "Art of..." book for the game where they detailed 3 other great ideas for a Star Wars game... and had an epiphany that they instead should make a piece of crap.

If I'm at Barnes and Noble in the near future and see it I'll report back with that.

I can't wait for this, it might now be Battlefront 3, but I've always wanted a proper Star Wars bounty hunter game. I hated the one on PS2, I just hope LucasArts don't screw it up.
