That idea is terrible. We want members to join and post here. Not put them in a forum camp. Most new members ease their way around on their own. Some don't that's what us area mods are here for.

I don't know how many members are here, but I know of a forum with 40,000 members and the system works terrifically. I can't believe anyone in charge thinks this forum is filled with healthy discussion and respectful people. It's a virtual dump for the disrespectful and generally odd people. It's one of if not the most volatile forum I've ever seen. It's such a shame seeing as GTA is one of the greatest games of all time, and this place isn't even a fun place to discuss it.

Perhaps overall traffic is more important to the owner of this place than quality of discussion, who knows.

I visit here almost every day, just like one other forum, and I always post there, rarely post here at all and I'd say GTA is the greater love for me, that speaks volumes to me.

an IGNORE feature! if there is a tro... er poster whose posts youd rather not see - putting them on ignore will give the option.

"youve ignored this poster. click here if you would like to see their post."

as you scroll you would see that they posted but their post would be hidden unless you choose 2 view it. it would make the experience here 4 ME very pleasant.

You do realize that there is code you need to add to make a commenting user profile (social network), and creating a bunch of MySQL databases as well as PHP and HTML, lol. I myself am not a bad coder I know how to make preferix (MySQL) tables for the users to be stored on I can do PHP, CSS, HTML. Can't wait to see what you guys are going to come up with!

I dunno of it is possible but i would like a mobile website, it would make things alot easier somtimes if i just want to check the site just for recent updates.

The mods or admins should be able to look at new posted topics before they enter the main page for GTA V a lot of people like trolling and its not cool. They should approve a topic is basically what I'm saying.

The mail should be an option because some people don't like the spam but it think it's very usefull so you don't have to seach in every topic for people who quote a post of you.

Even though this relates more to GTA series in general, I think a good way to keep everyone occupied until more news comes would be to make a sticky thread which encourages members to play previous GTAs maybe starting from III and share their experiences aswell as discussing features they would like to come back in GTAV. Maybe call it something like The journey to GTAV

The schedule could be like this

Week 1: of the thread GTA forums plays GTAIII

Week 2: GTA forums plays Vice city

Week 3: GTA forums plays San Andreas

Week 4: GTA forums plays GTAIV

Week 5: GTA forum plays Episodes

After each week we could all summarise what we thought of that game
-Our favourite mission
-How well its aged
-What features we would like to return in V
-And how we rank it compared to other GTA's

Even though that would be an AWESOME feature. I don't think it would be possible, the forum software has been messed up so much that it's hard not to f*ck things up when trying to add complex features like this one.

Hopefully this feature will be on GTAF V2.
