Bought the book a few week back. Gonna try get it read before the film is released. Baz Luhrmann is a crazy motherhubbard of a director.

Ooh, Carey Mulligan... loved her in Drive. I must say I'm intrigued by the trailer, more than what I was when I first heard about the movie. Loved the music too although it seemed a little too modern for the timeline of the film.

BTW, don't you think the graphics/artwork (or whatever it's called) resembles Inception's?

I'm definitely looking forward to this movie. The book was one of the books I had to study as part of my English class during the past school year. We also watched the 1974 movie in class.

In addition to reading the book as required reading in grade school, I'd bought a copy of it soon after graduating college to read again, and frankly, I can't remember a darn thing about. All I remember is rich people in Long Island. Considering how forgettable even the book is for me, I'm not sure I'll be that interested in the film, but I'll at least give it a shot.
