QUOTE (Secronom President @ Tuesday, Aug 14 2012, 06:47)
Well, here's what I have in my mind for the hints:

The ending is based on how many hints you've found. The more you find, the closer you are to the truth ending; the less you find, the further you are from the real ending.

That's just to make things more entertaining.

Anyway, what are your thoughts about the hints found so far?

They are quite hard to find. bored.gif

I mean: what are your thoughts about the hints (the green ones) found so far?

Like, do you have anyone in mind or something (name(s) plus reason(s))? tounge.gif

Well I think it was Vladimir, maybe he was in the deal with Toreno. The 2 members in the long dead group were Toreno and Vladimir. I think the deal was Toreno and Vladimir, hmmm, maybe use John to do something for them, idk.

@Others

That's just my guess, don't think it's the true!

Interesting theory. icon14.gif Could be right, could be wrong.

I wonder what are the other players theories.

Last mission of the first chapter of the remake and redesign of The Chronicles of John Secronom: Gang War I has been published. Check the main post for the link. Play, enjoy, and give me feedback.

I added notes to almost all missions.

I updated the influence section.

I added a statistics section.

Out of the three contract options mentionned by Toreno, which one would you choose?
-The Tierra Robada and Bone County takeover contract from the Da Nang Boys;
-The internal war affairs contract of the Orange Grove Families in Los Santos;
-The triple contract from the San Fierro Rifa, the San Fierro Triads and the Da Nang Boys to take over San Fierro.

Chapter one is up and running on GTAGarage.com, as well as nineteen pictures.

I played the latest mission, here's my thoughts:

Those hints are quite cool, because they give a ton of suspense,
and improved the story a lot icon14.gif

About the contract, I'll choose the last one, it seems that a big fight is to come.

I played the other missions too, all that I have to say is:

all the mission are very funny bto play, cause there are many cutscnes revealing the storyline and lots of action, which motivate me to contniue playing this. You did a very good job in this series., keep it up!
I just think if you decrase the difficult in some missions it coyuld be better, but make as your wish.

+1 for adding more info, topiclooks better and we can know muchn more info about the story.

Good job sir, contniue like this and good luck icon14.gif
looking forward to the next chapter.

My Rating:

7.9/10

Thanks for playing the missions and for the rating.

And as I probably already said, the hints will affect the outcome of the story.

I believe the description speaks for itself. wink.gif

Takeover means turf war and internal war means internal problems (refer to the main game if you want more information on the Orange Grove Families internal problems.) For more specific information of what will happen in the missions, you'll have to wait and play. tounge.gif

For those who didn't notice yet: a contract equals a chapter.

Phew. I fell like I have just made one hell of an accomplishment.

First Chapter Feedback

Finishing your mission that is, the chapter is ridiculously hard at many points,
you must really tune down the difficulty.
But the story is very well directed, I remember playing missions 1-8 ages ago, back with V4.1.
You really changed them and improved some of the missions as far as I recall.
The animations are a turn off though, you only concentrate on hint and how to over-do the action and most of the story, just slips away.
To follow the story correctly you must be really focused on some moments and the unending waves of 2500HP enemies just consumes all of your focus.
One of the ways to tune down the difficulty is to limit the no-headshot 2500HP actors to bosses only.
Also, isn't the transmission you caught by a mistake at the airport a hint?

Rating

-Too many enemies.
-Lacking animations
+Improved version of past missions.
+Mistery
+Well directed plot
+Well done non-action gameplay.

Score

7/10

The mission pack is good, better than I remembered it at first, but it makes you really struggle
and even ask yourself if you even wish to complete it.
Score could sky-rise if you make it more user-friendly, and make it look better, with more animations, a few more cutscenes
and always check twice and test the mission again and ask yourself what's there to improve.
Good luck! turn.gif

Also, I vote Tierra Robada, bone country - da nangs. wink.gif

Thanks for the rating, Kratos2000. About the difficulty, I was just testing and playing around with stuff to make it feel like a real war. Depending on what is the next chapter, it may or may not be the main factor/element of it. You are right: the transmission was a hint, but it's too late to be added to the found hints. Still, nice job finding it by yourself.

xGhostx: Then he's not worth to be called Kratos. tounge.gif Reference to God of War.
