Always had this suggestion. 250 was never enough. I always had to delete some which I didn't want. 500 is too good. Thanks a lot. Highly appreciated.

I fail to see why anyone, bar staff, would need their PM capacity at 500. You're unlikely to receive a seperate PM off of 500 members on this forum, so one solution is, if you're having a PM conversation with the same member, just delete the previous PM's that you two have traded, since you really only need the current PM to know what's been said. I also fail to see what could be that important in 500 PM's so much that you need to save each one.

Personally, 250 is enough.

If all your PM's are so important just use the Archive Feature which will just bundle up a whole bunch of them and Email them to you.

Us area moderators recently had ours increased to 500 since we tend to save PM's for reference and evidence. I don't think over 250 is needed for a regular member. Save the really important ones and just delete the others.

Area moderators wanted more space, but it's only possible to set the limit by group. Area moderators aren't a group, so we had to increase it for everyone.

(Server space isn't an issue.)

I believe that a few years ago, as a reward for the Annual Awards, winners tended to receive extra PM space.

Just wondering how come that system hasn't been indulged in the most current awards.

For as long as I've been here it's just been an award. Never really thought of anything different. Will keep in mind for next year.

I haven't got a clue how to do that.
500 are more than enough now. I usually used to have a 10 or 15% PM storage area left for new PMs which was a bit tough to manage. Now its like, 55% left!! So, yeah!!
