AC/DC have hinted that they may return to the road in 2013 to mark their 40th anniversary.
Singer Brian Johnson told Pop Eater that the group expected to meet shortly to discussing “how we're feeling” about celebrating the landmark.
The band are also expected to record a new album for their 40th year.
"We never ever say 'we're going in the studio January next year,' if you do that you're straight under pressure and we've never worked like that,” Johnson said.
But the singer admitted that the tour would not be as long as their recent Black Ice World tour, which lasted two years.
I personally think it will be a final tour. They never really want to say when they are going to back up and retire, but I think keeping their fans always at the edge of their seats in good; for 1- fan growth (because it'll most likely be their last tour) and 2- They money and costs.
They'll keep going for as long as they can but they will never be able to retire and play small gigs anywhere you wouldn't think. I've been a fan of AC/DC for a while now, and was at on of their live shows three years ago on their Black Ice Tour. Their concerts are always exciting and the atmosphere of the crowds.
Do you think they should trade in their instruments for walkers, or, do you think they should stay young in heart as long as they can.

Why in HELL would they call it a day? Scorpions are just to go out on top, as much as can be said for the Hard Rock and Metal Scene these days, but MOTORHEAD and Metal God LEMMY ain't hangin' his hat up anytime soon, and Ozzy quickly dashed the same thoughts.... I can only see the need to rock and the love between performer, audience and the music itself as all the proof you need. AC/DC have kept doing what they do because they love what they do, and their fan base is MASSIVE, so....

Black Ice was the last one I think, Rock N Roll Train? I didn't keep up with them after Ballbreaker, which I did buy, I didn't mind it, but glad to have them around since your Can't Stop the Rock

In the last month Mr. Brian Johnson was on the morning radio show talking about his new book IIRC, I wish I could recall the details, I even thought I mentioned it already
I searched Google news on AC/DC new song 2012, and a radio station in Australia aired this song saying it was a demo song of their new album. Obviously not Brian on vocals, but like I said, I think it's just a demo. What do you think.
