hi guys , i always took care of installing 2 doors on 2 doors and 4 doors on 4 doors in order not to get a mess when doing missions . but i was thinking of something . would it be possible to install a 2 doors on a 4 doors and add the flag van (or any other 2 doors flag) . i mean if you'd go and pickup Packie and his buddies for example , will it work , i mean will they say to you to get a 4 doors . i'm talking of a vehicle that wouldn't be used in the original scenario yet

Yes, changing the vehicles.ide file. If you have the vehicles.ide of the car you want to install just past it over the .ide line of the vehicle you want to replace.

I don't get it. where have you seen a documentation where it says which car has 2 or 4 doors? Dummies in the wft file defines how many doors there are. If there's no other two doors and two passenger seats it means that it's for two people only.

GTAIV/pc/textures loadingscreens.wtd -> textures . you open with Spark GTAIV/common/data loadingscreens_pc.dat -> loading screens behaviour . with notepad if you want to do your own drawnings , search google for vectorization and inkscape (nicely made built-in tutorial)

for testing your loading screens , here's a tip that will save you dozens of hours of testing . start the game in windowed mode , and when the loading screens appear do Alt + Tab then release Tab but keep pushing down Alt . the game loading will take forever
Sorry that I have to say this but that mod is a sh*t. He made it incorrectly. I believe that you see some flickering before the main menu with this mod. Try out mine
