Do you think night vision will return? And introduce things like a gas mask or a grappling hook? A grappling hook would be useful and night vision looks cool. What are your thoughts?

I honestly don't think so.

We had that stuff in SA (except the hook), and those days are over.

And a grappling hook? Wouldn't you rather use a chopper?

The grappling hook kinda stretches it. If I wanted to do that, I would play JC2, but GTA is a down-to-earth game.
The night vision and gas mask, however, are things I would like to see returning.

A gadget they should have is a Digital Wallet. read up on it, you can purchase things and store all your money on it. It has no real use, except it would make it realistic how the main character carries thousands of $$$ on him.

A grappling hook would be for getting to those places like up to a fire escape or something like that and it would be faster if you didn't have a heli.

JC2 has an extremely unrealistic grappling hook. A digital wallet would be cool.

I don't think they will add that kind of staff unless it would be a mission that use night vision. Plus it is very rare to use it in game

Nights could be even darker than IV. Making night vision useful.

No one wouldn't want them. It's just because R* laziness so they don't think it would be added. But this time they said 'ambitious' anyway, let's see how ambitious are they...

A grappling hook would be awesome, not like JC2's grapple where you can stop helicopters and all of that, but a quick way to get up buildings would be nice, and would be cool with a stealth system, someone coming? Grapple up the building with it real quick like and avoid them or something.

Night vision would also be cool, especially if there's a revamped and upgraded stealth system, hiding in some dark alley, your enemies can't see you but you see them.

Some of this stuff would just make the game too complex (grappling hook). Things like masks and the return of thermal/night vision would be cool to see though
