Have one week of school left. One week of studying. Then one week of exams then I'm finished school for good. I really dislike the fact that one exam decides your carreer prospects. I would much rather continual assesment.

I agree! I hate exams.

I have one exam in August I really want to pass. I just study at work when I have downtime, I really need to start studying at home though as I don't want to fail this.

Well my mid-year is about to get done, I only have History left on Friday. Yeah I gave up on History long ago. I'm just hoping Stalin would be one of the topics coming out, that's like the only History thingy coming out of my head.

I better get a goddamn A for Accounting, was so satisfied with the way I did my paper. But Maths, there were like only eleven questions and I struggle through all of them, which is surprising for me because I usually breeze through Maths. Over-confidence I guess.

Then again O-Levels are coming in a few more months and it determines whether I go to college or not. I'm doomed.

Within 20 minutes, I was drinking

So by the time liquids were in yr belly, people were still in the exam hall sweating over their answers? Harsh.

Heh, never thought about it like that. tounge.gif

I remember being distracted by the only girl in the class during the exam, because she was actually pretty hot. Ended up drinking with her after the exam (since she showed up to the same bar after the exam finished). Not a bad night. I remember being pretty hammered and feeling like complete crap the next day.

[EDIT] This was one of the beers I treated myself to after the exam. After drinking it, I can say I no longer feel like drinking Grolsch.

All it takes is one Grolsch to put you off Grolsch altogether.

I can't talk, the only 40 I've ever had was Bud Light.

I had my final university exams for the semester last week.....4 in total. They were: Organic Chemistry I, Genetics, Ecology, and U.S. History 1933-present. The Organic Chem test was worth 40% of the final grade, the Genetics exam was just very difficult, the Ecology test was easy, and for U.S. History, I had to write two 8 page papers answering two questions.

f*ck, am I glad that this semester is over with....now I'm just kind of resting easy and going to work at the local grocery store. Have you guys already registered for the next semester? I've got Organic Chemistry II, Advanced Cellular Biology, and General Physiology coming up in the Fall.

Here's a tip for all you UKers/people following the UK syllabus:

You've heard right, don't do psychology, its a sh*t ton of work.

I'm doing psychology next year, in fact it seems to be a popular choice at my school. Next year is my last year though so I'm not going to bother that much if I do well enough this year.

Organic Chemistry I, Genetics, Ecology

This makes my A-level Biology exam coming up this Monday feel a lot easier, though simultaneously making what I've learnt seem a lot less interesting.

I take mine June 6 and 7. I am likely exempt from my Geometry test, and I am exempt from my American history final, due to getting Accelerated on my state standardized test for Geometry, and my history teacher will exempt me for simply passing it. I'm glad I only need to do mt Chemistry final on the last day, which will be on the computer. Only got to be there for an hour and a half. Next year, going to the vocational school to learn Web/Graphic Design. Gonna be more fun being on the computer half the day than sitting doing notes.

Already done my APUSH exam last Friday, and have my AP English one tomorrow morning. If the APUSH one is anything to go by, these AP tests are easier than I remember. I just have to will myself into writing more pages.

Speaking of AP tests, how was your gov test, Adler?

Which English one? I did both and the literature one is a f*cking massacre. History is one of the easier exams as long as you know the material. The essays are so easy compared to the ones from AP World.

Thing is, you're gonna have to know all the sh*t you learn in your AS year for the A2 exam as well, so if you slack in psychology this year, you're gonna have to end up coming back to it anyway next year if you wanna get a good result in your A2 exams.

I thought it was pretty easy. My FRQ's might not have gotten all the points but I'm sure I covered all the bases. Too bad there wasn't one about campaign money!

I did both as well. I got a 4 on the Language test last year and I'm feeling confident in the Literature test I took this year. The Multiple Choice was alright and I did well on the FRQ's. Only, for the Free Response that required that you write about a book "of literary merit," I wrote about Great Expectations which I only read halfway hehe. In retrospect, I should've SparkNoted the book since I knew they were going to ask about it. wink.gif

For AP World, I thought it was kind of difficult considering it was my first AP test and there is a LOT of history in the world haha.

Just the other day I got the results back for my only exam this semester. I really should have done a lot of revision with all that time. I only started two days before, and learned a lesson as a result. The revision the day before was interrupted by both a flat viewing and having to help a mate push start his car too. But yeah, I boshed out 66%, which is a 2:1 I'm told.

So I guess the lesson is: you can always leave it 'til the last minute.
