I'm having a weird problem with my GTA IV.
When I launch the game I get these weird foggy textures and some that just disappear all and all:

The problem is basically everywhere, and I'm running a retail v. 1.0.7.0 version of the game.
I'm running windows vista 32 bit.

It used to work all right and all, I actually tried re-installing it too, but didn't seem to help.
Any comments would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance!

Did you maybe change your GPU drivers in the meantime or something like that? Did you use some other game version previously?

Actually, yes. I updated my drivers while ago, but back then it just made the game better, but suddenly this happened.
I have used 1.0.7.0 as long as it has been out.
I think the foggy textures came when I was tinkering with graphics tweaks, but I'd think re-installing would fix that.

Depending on what you changed, if you applied some mods they may have survived the reinstall.

However, that foggy stuff is pretty much random. I found it pops up usually after doing many GPU driver installs, but it may be unrelated. Try fiddling with memrestrict. Oh yes, if you have any commandline file in your install directory or some switches in your shortcut to the game launcher, you may want to revise them and see if any of those is causing this.
