Sure PETA will go crazy but that kind of controversy is what made GTA as infamous and popular as it is today, the two things we will never be able to do in GTA however is killing children and committing rape.
The one thing I strangely want to see is how euphoria would work if we ran over something like a horse at full speed, not because I hate horses just because it would be interesting to see how the physics would work in that situation. |
There's two reasons why that comparison is off: *RDR was based in a different time period in which killing wild animals was much more widely accepted. *GTA is one of the most popular gaming series of all time. Anything controversial within the game will be put under scrutiny to a much greater extent than RDR. |
Sure RDR was set in a different time but it was still possible to kill domestic animals like dogs hell the fact that you could skin animals would be worse than anything GTA will probably do related to animals. As for controversy I already said there would be a ton however it wouldn't be a new GTA without some sort of controversy and to be honest the fact that we can kill people in many gruesome ways in past GTA's and everyone is fine with it while killing animals may cause a potential uproar seems kind of backwards to me.
It will be fine the people that complain about it will settle down after time just like all the other people who complained about previous controversies in previous GTAs did. | A large portion of our society appears to value the life of domestic animals more than humans. It's sad, but I believe it's true.

True, those people should go live with a pack of Lions and see if they have the same compassion. | Yeah, I agree. By the way, I don't mean to offend anyone by agreeing with that statement. But I think the lack of respect for certain aspects of human life is astonishing sometimes.
