That makes sense to me. Technology is evolving but humanity is at a crossroads. Someday technology and man will be one and maybe we can just program ourselves to become the image we want to be. It seems right now that the old way is breaking down and hopefully the dawn of a new age will bring us closer to our true potential. Or we can destroy ourselves in an orgy of apathetic escapism(phrase I just made up). The big monotheistic religions are no longer believable in their literal understandings but many people will simply not look deeper out of fear of the unknown and their own egotistic trappings of arrogance and ignorance. I don't know where I'm going with this but I'm somewhat optimistic.

I find this strange because near me the Catholic Church has co-ed basketball and volleyball teams from the various churches. But that's why they call them fanatics though isn't it?

The ESPN article says they forfeited out of respect for women. As backwards as they were in that, it still gives more reason than saying it was because they were religious nuts. Private schools are run very conservatively anyways, this is sad, but it's not shocking.

Out of respect? f*ck outta here. If they wanted to show respect they'd allow the woman (girl) to be treated as an equal and considered a n opponent and not a liability. She must be pretty good if she made the team and was starting.
