Hello I looked on Can You Run It if this PC can play GTAIV and it said yes on everything but not the graphics card. Yet every segment of the graphics card is checked yes but it still fails.

Can I play GTAIV on ultimate with these settings??

I don't think it will run.Gta IV is poorly optimized,so don't go after the system requirements.If you want to run the game at playable frame rates,then wait until someone recommends you a better PC.

Could you download GPU-Z and post a screenshot of this program? Because I really doubt you have a FireGL GPU.

the link says 120 stream processors, what resolution is your computer monitor?

^ Keep in mind that the stream processors of AMD and nVidia GPU's don't work the same, 120 s. p. with AMD isn't as fast as 120 s. p. on an nVidia card.

FireGL was never meant for gaming, so there might be issues. Anyway, V3600 is based on Radeon HD2600 Pro, which is a very old card, capable of running GTA4 on low settings.

What's also strange is that GTA SA runs like crap on this PC, maybe 10 FPS at highest settings

edit: i have been saying that here since i joined, its one of my main gta IV gripes.

i agree with the post above mine. he could just get a hd 5570/6670/6770 or such. that resolution isn't that high, especially for a PC with a c2q 6600. i have the same cpu, and i played high settings with 9800gt
original poster start with these base graphic settings:
Texture Quality: Low
Shadow Quality: Off
Reflection Resolution: Off
Water Quality: Low
Texture Filter Quality: Tri-Linear
Night Shadows: Off
View Distance: 6
Detail Distance: 5
plus set your aspect ratio to 4:3 instead of auto

I get 20+ fps with my crappy graphics card; But, I am using Tweaks. If you try tweaks then I a sure you can enjoy this game.

the salesman flat out lied to you (most likely it was a blowout item with higher commission rates). the card you have is severely outdated, and your proccessor is 6 or 7 generations old. its a good processor, but not something id buy in a "new" system. can you return it?

My specs are very similar, i'd say low 15-25fps
