well first of all this is my first post here so hi and i expect to be here allot.... so yea im new to pc gaming coming form a pc. so i built myslef a pc witha i5 2500k in it and well no graphics card. well yea when i try to play gta on it i get this blue thing instead of well everthing.... i put in a command line saying no restric mem and all that stuff but it doesnt work. yea yea iknow i need a gfx card but im wating on a gtx 670 to come out. but i just wanna get mebey 20fps on like low and i was hoping i could do this for now. thanks for any help in advace

WOW ''no graphics card'' are you sure? Check your specs and be more detailed, also did you patched the game?

I think this is because of the GPU of course, it's expected. Make sure to play on Low settings, with the Draw Distance not less than 10.

If you are saying no graphics cards then why Niko looks handsome than mine? Anyways, you are having a Graphic Card. It might be Intel HD. When I ran GTA 4 at start then the situation was the same. After adding a new Graphic Card, the textures came back but the lag was horrible. Commandline itself won't fix this problem. Go to Start Menu/Run/Type "dxdaig"/a window will open, go to Video bar/there your Graphic Card name would be given.

oh sorry i dont really have a graphics card but its a intel hd 3000. thought i was tellin u that when i said 2500k but whatever disregard this post cuz really i cant wait a few days for my gpu i jut wanted to play it a lil bit and mabey knock out a lil bit of the story

Anywayzzzz... try running at different settings change the draw distance. Reinstall game? Or get a grahics card.

well yea like i said i know i dont have a strong computer... im getting a graphics card. (changed order to neweg with rush proccesing and next day air cuz i had giftcard) so im not stupid i just wanted to play it temporarily but yea thanks guys it will be coming tomorrow so i can wait a day and if i really need to play gta 4 i have it on ps3 but i want mods lol.

If my Gigabyte 470 soc is anything to go by, that is a good choice of card. Cool, quiet and a lot of overclocking headroom.
