Rockstar have recently announced that, after the countless amount of trailers, previews, gameplays and also a TV commercial, they're releasing the launch trailer For Max Payne 3 on May 10th.

So, as many members on this forum are tired of the extensive marketing for MP 3, so much so they despise the very exsistence of the game, do you think this will finally Mark the end to the marketing for Max Payne 3?

Of course any GTA V info will most likely not come until after MP 3 is released, but still at least we can all now expect the next thing to come out of Rockstar's mouth about an upcoming game, after the launch trailer is out, will be about, GTA V.


For the record, I think Max Payne 3 looks pretty good.

I doubt they'd jump ahead so quickly, there'd be some considerable promotional efforts following its reviews - not to mention the DLC. It should however be interesting to see what happens during E3 in a few weeks' time, given that GTAV is back in Los Santos and all that.

The marketing will go on for at least a month after the release, because of the Multiplayer Events and the general hype. Maybe new GTA V info will come, but I doubt that.

First GTA V shall be a GameInformer reveal in the summer. :fingerscrossed:

You're right, which is why I said "Rockstar's mouth about an upcoming game"

They'll definitely be announcing multiplayer events and such but after the marketing is out of the way for MP 3, GTA V is the only upcoming game they've got to talk about.

Unless they decide to release Agent next or something.

After the release of Max Payne 3, they will still show trailers for DLC, announcing event's etc., but I hope they will show us a new trailer for V or Agent or a new IP.

Games ALWAYS continue to get some promotion after release. I remember earlier GTA titles airing commercials well after the release of the game. Realistically, there is'nt going to be new information for a least a month after MP3's release. That is not so far away, suck it up.
In the meantime, TRY Max Payne 3. You might find that there IS room for other games in your lives, plus, it helps pass the time until GTAV information comes along.

I recall seeing one of the R* moderators place a comment on one of their Max Payne 3 videos saying that new information regarding GTA V will be released throughout Max Payne 3's release. I hope this is the truth.
