 very low sound

hi , everything's in the title . since 2 days i have a very low audio . no problem but very low . music and effects settings are normal same as general audio

I don't understand. Is the overall sound level in the game too low? If you're on 7, you should click on the speaker icon in your system tray and then click the mixer hyperlink. You should do this with GTAIV minimized and running in the background. Now in the mixer dialog you should see the sound levels for the system and all the running applications.

You probably have some application adjusting sound levels in the background.
