Honestly, I have no idea how I've changed the world by refusing to step into a temple. The most I've achieved is the satisfaction from knowing deep down that I'm not blindly following something that I don't believe in or understand. I've tried to reason with many religious people over why they need to pray in specific holy places when 'apparently' god is everywhere. Millions are spent in construction of temples, churches and mosques while poor, homeless people are left on the road and frowned upon by the very people who pray for riches and divine blessings from the almighty.

You're a smart man, Otter and I definitely don't have to tell you that our world is a f*cked up place. You, me or a handful of others make no difference to this world. As long as we're ruled by men who believe in the power of a supernatural being rather than the ability of man to achieve the impossible without any divine intervention, I don't see this world becoming any better a place than what it is now.

Look it's really not as bad as you guys are making out. What happened is I was drinking alcopops, and my friends said "why don't aren't you drinking beer?" and I said I didn't like it. So they all started laughing at me and making fun of me, and they told me if I didn't start drinking beer then they didn't want to hang around with me anymore. So I went to the shops and bought myself a crate of beer, and I sat there for a whole night in my bedroom drinking it even though I hated every drop and I kept puking. But I forced myself to keep going and eventually I started liking it. Then my friends saw me drinking beer and said I could hang with them again.

Schools are pussies these days. Suspended for wearing a Jesus shirt. LOL. I told my teacher to eat a dick and flipped him off and all I got was "you can leave my classroom" and got some lecture and a note or some shlt. I didn't even get suspended. Back when I was a kid, the type of shlt you got suspended for was, oh I dunno, bringing a gun or knife to school. They didn't even expell them either.

Plus what the f*ck did he learn if he's just gonna wear it again? No point in suspending him if the bible humper isn't gonna change. Some dude would've jacked his shirt off eventually anyway, no doubt.

I am actually a Christian myself and I don't care if people believe, do not believe or simply bag Jesus. There would be no point arguing and people can believe in what they want and I basically was born to be a Christian. This school seems a bit tight for that, I doubt this student is provoking other students and causing a complete ridiculous argument.

Overall, school must be strict. Student believes in Jesus they should just let it go..

The 'your' is implied. Statements like these are bound to provoke some sort of reaction. This kid was trying to provoke a reaction, he succeeded and then cried foul when suspended. It's not like he innocently wore it without realizing that it might cause a fuss; he was even asked not to wear it, so any actions of his after that were deliberate.

Not really. I have no interest in "glorifying" myself. On a GTA forum? Lol. Believe me I'm not that narcissistic. I'm a pretty selfless guy. I was just telling it like it is and pointing out the differences between today's strict schools and old schools. Today you can apparently get suspended for wearing a Jesus shirt. Which is ridiculous. They could've at least given him some gym shirt or something to wear instead of suspending him. And this is coming from an atheist too.

Back in the days you had caning for all manner of things, nowadays for bad behaviour all you'll get is detention/exclusion/expulsion, whatever. I guess it just depends on the school you're at. When I was about 9 (I'm 21 now), one of my teachers made me stand against a chalk board with my arms up for over 30 minutes for doing some crap I don't even remember. Literally 30 minutes on a chalk board with my arms up. At other schools, like I said, you'd have to go extreme lengths just to get suspended. Most schools I went to did nothing about bullying either. I got beat up a few times, every kid did. I got my money jacked, I got my clothes stolen, I got tackled after school and all kinds of shlt and they never did anything. I was always outnumbered too (like 7 to 1) so every time I'd try to fight back I'd get my ass handed to me. Nowadays they have that "B.A Star" crap which isn't gonna do anything.
