Hi,

Haven’t modded anything in years, but decided to finally go back and finish up a mod I made a long time ago.

Anyway, I have my old models fired up in 3DS Max 2012, Kams script installed and working and I’m good to go. The problem I am having is vertex pre lighting. If I make a new model, I can pre light and export it no problem. But, no matter what I try with my old models (bridges) I cannot get the pre lighting to work, resulting in a dark model.

I read somewhere that the latest version of 3DS Max uses a different vertex paint modifier than previous versions, and you basically flatten everything down to 1 layer and automatically apply a new vertex paint modifier on top of the flattened on. I’ve done that and still no luck.

Has anyone had a similar problem? Is there a poly limit on models sizes in GTA3 which could be causing this problem? Any help would be great
