I'd say the one movie from my childhood that immediately brings back intense nostalgic memories of the time period that I saw it would have to be "The Sandlot" (1993). I was 5 years old at the time, and enrolled at a daycare, so we used to watch the movie quite a bit. I remember all of my friends used to think it was badass when the character Yeah Yeah said "crappy" lol.

Ah yes, Sandlot...i love that movie. It was also that film that was like the ultimate kids place. Playing baseball, driving around with bikes and fooling around. They had this nice treehouse also...and then the dog biggrin.gif

I was totally into dinosaurs when I was young thus The Land Before Time was one of my favorite movies for a long time. Hell I think I still have a VHS copy of it somewhere.

Also was massively into He Man and had my older brother take me to see Masters of the Universe on opening day.

And lets not even get into how much I was a TMNT fanboy. Saw this opening week with my....mom. lol.gif

Christ, I remember like it was yesterday. I must have that fifty times before I was four.

Very fond of these three as well.

I have such a nostalgia hard-on for VHS at the moment.

@Trip: I have to say, the original "Star Wars" would have been one of the coolest childhood movies one could grow up with. icon14.gif

I know a lot of people despise "The Phantom Menace", but for me, it's another one of those movies that brings back floods of nostalgia; especially all of the marketing products they brought out, like the collectible Pepsi and Mountain Dew cans. Looking back, if it hadn't been for those sub-par prequel movies, I would have never even thought to check out the original trilogy, which have now become among my favorite movies of all time.

Wow, those old Disney trailers really have me tripping down memory lane! They used to play those weird, extended trailers ahead of the features they put out on those old puffy vhs tapes. Oh man, memories.

Let me preface this by saying...sorry. tounge.gif I went a little crazy. These all have a soft spot in my heart.

This one probably goes without saying.

....holy sh*t I could keep going! Let me cut myself off here with a treat.

YES!!!!!

Guys, when we were like 4 or 5 in school, they used to show us a film on projector at Christmas time. It was like a Disney one. It was about a young tugboat that used to get kinda bullied by the big other ships. I just remember him stuggling in stormy weather. Anyone recall something like this? Been trying to figure out for years although I never really searched online.

@Otter: So curious to see the videos you posted. Can't view them in work sad.gif

And this film was PG rated biggrin.gif

Anywho, here is the greatest puppets ever...i actually thought Gremlins were real then. I'll post the kitchen clip, cause they don't show gremlins themselves in the trailer:

And Gremlins 2:

E: Oh, also the greatest and funniest gremlin, the brain one biggrin.gif:

That movie is still hilarious.

And Yes to The Sandlot. I could still watch that with just as much enthusiasm and awe as I did in the 3rd grade.
