Right. That card wasn't really a good one, was it?

@Ryan: Can you post about how the 460 performs when you receive it? I just want to see how good its performance is. smile.gif

Not sure if I'm getting it, but I'll let you know if I do. Found a guy who's selling a 6870 for $125, which is only about $5 more than what the 460 would cost me with taxes. Trying to get that right now. If it doesn't fall through, I'll get the 460.

No one care about the GTX 465 once the GTX 460 came out as 460 runs cooler than the 465.

I've finally narrowed it down to these two. They're both used, but I don't know which one to go for. MSI GTX 460 Cyclone for $100 or HIS HD 6870 for $120. Leaning toward the 6870 ATM.

I think it'll be easier for you to choose using this review:

The only upside of the GTX465 is that some samples could be unlocked to GTX470. Other than that, it doesn't really have any advantages over GTX460. wink.gif

@Ryan: IMHO HD6870 the way to go icon14.gif

Not a bad choice. I'm an Nvidia fanboy personally, the 470 can beat the 6870 in many games, however there are other games where they trade blows, so for the same price, 6870 not a bad choice (though I personally would've gone 470.) Too bad you couldn't get that 560 Ti for $150, but since you'll be upgrading again anyway, doesn't really matter.
