It's quite clear that when it comes to GTA R* always makes phenomenal stories. My personal favorite is the story in SA, I really felt as if that was very in-depth and a great story over all. But the story for IV IMO was very weak and not entertaining, maybe it was due to the fact that I didn't enjoy using Niko.

So the question I pose to you guys is, what do you think R* needs to do to create your perfect story to this game and what may be needed, or not needed? Personally I think R* is one of the best companies who make campaigns within a game (i.e. the RDR ending almost made me cry cause it felt like a movie).

San Andreas was a great game but I wouldn't say the storyline was good, it was rather erratic to be honest. Your just a small time gangsta, end up in the middle of the countryside, then make friends with a hippy to team up and run a car garage. Then you make friends with some government dude to learn to fly a plane, then you take a stake in a casino. This is not a story, it's loads of stories moulded into one.

I am hoping for a new, totally original story from Rockstar but less erratic than SA.

Something less depressing than IV, I had a hard time rooting for Niko. The Darko guy he wanted to find so badly was right, he's a hypocrite and entirely conflicted. I'd like a protagonist without as much emotional baggage who's confident and stable, Niko needed a few therapy sessions IMO.

the story in IV was great ,the best imo...when you combined the story of Niko,Johnny and Luiz...it was much more complex and different from the ones in other GTA games (and im not saying that the other stories are bad or anything) .

The story was good I guess, it was just Niko that was the problem. I enjoyed the plot from Johnny and Luis point of view though sense I liked their characters more.

We need a character who embraces the fact that they are who they are and can't change. Someone like Tommy Vercetti.
