Not every discussion needs to be perfectly serious. It is relevant and people are talking about it in civilized manner. These are main criteria for threads to keep going. Try to keep this in mind next time you are in a thread you don't want getting locked.

I never got locked except for when I was new and posted some really stupid things, but my point is that I have read many posts wherein people had a nice discussion and it was locked. ( mostly by ryan ) He stated it was full of spam when it wasn't. I'm sorry, but to me this just kinda seemed like someone was trolling around.
