Be sure you read the pinned pre-post topic labled "READ BEFORE YOU POST A QUESTION" before you create a new thread. If this topic does not clear up your problem, by all means proceed with a new thread creation. This topic also explains some of the info you (and those replying) will need to know in order to get a helpful and speedier reply.

there, you have your answer. | I know I really want the iPad, but I want to know the pro's and con's of each and every thing. Maybe some knowledge about everything too. I have never touched anything like an iPad, just my little iPod Touch. My father owns a laptop, I never used it. But if that is all you have to say, then thanks for your hard work and contribution.

I have no idea about all of the ends and outs of the PS Vita but I do know this; it's a handheld gaming console and it's pretty much all it's good for. With the iPad and Laptop you can play games as be productive as well. The iPad is lighter and easier to carry around than a laptop. For most part you never have to wait for the iPad to start up, that is if you don't count completely shutting it down which only have to do on rare occasions, compared to a laptop. But the laptop does have things that make it better than the iPad; larger storage space, USB, CD/DVD drive, more programs and depending on how much they are willing to spend it can be more powerful too.
It's really up to you and how you want to use each one. I have a desktop that I use for most of my PC gaming as well as a few other things. I bought a laptop some years ago for those times when I'm in bed or stuck in bed (health reasons, rather not go into it) and I can do most of the things I can do on my desktop but for gaming which I didn't want it for that anyway. Then I got an iPad 2 last year and I find myself using that more than my laptop, in fact my laptop's av was out of date for about a month once because I never used it thanks to the iPad. I use my iPad for mostly iOS games and web surfing (I've used it a number of times to answer questions here on GTAF), some times watching videos and reading ebooks. I've had a few times where I wish I had gotten the 3G version instead of the Wifi only, but then I don't hardly go any where (can't really) so I don't miss the 3G that much, if I really wanted to I could either pay for the service on my iPhone (that turns the iPhone into a hotspot) or get a prepaid MiFi.

Thanks for the advice guys.
