Doesn't work still. Tried everything & anything to get that f*cking game to work but I keep getting the Battleye error. I've come to the conclusion to just delete Arrowhead from Steam and just redownload it again now. Some f*cking bullsh*t though since it took nearly an entire day to download.

I finally got Dayz to work. My post on Dayz Forums if any of you get that damn ''Battleye not responding'' error and you've updated Battleye a thousand times.

I finally found out the reason it didnt want to play Dayz.

If you have a Netgear DGN 1000 model or other, please PLEASE look at your router settings. Log into your router - and go to the ADSL settings once there you should see a drop down box with VC-based. Change it to LLC-Based. Save the changes and then try and log onto a Dayz server. You should get the Battleye V1.167 Initialized and then a couple seconds later 2 other Battleye checks with a bunch of numbers and what not. If that happens I'm 100% sure you are now able to play a damn Dayz game. Can't believe it was a router problem after all of the hours I spent going through other people's advice.


Also, I f*cking suck at playing haha.

Thanks for the help though Oyster, honestly I'd still be going in circles now if I didn't find a website telling me to check my stupid router settings.

I played for a couple hours or probably more (lost track of time) and actually teamed up with a guy on the GTAF server. It was funny, he had no idea what GTAF was. It was going really awesome until well I made the foolish mistake of jumping off a side of the barn we were in and I didn't know you could f*ck up yourself to the extent of only being able to crawl. Needless to say we had no morphine or anything useful so I told him to kill me and hopefully we'll meet up in the future. Was a sad, sad moment though

Hello,

I have been playing on you server for the last couple of days which I enjoyed.

Managed to stay alive for a few days and build up some decent gear. That was until tonight. Basically 10 minutes ago, someone spawned everyone on the server into the "Thunderdome" where it turns into a free for all, guns are round the side etc etc.

Anyway long story short, i get shot, die, then next time i log in im back to a newbie status with no gear.

Shame about the admin abuse, it was a good server otherwise, but I wont be back.

It has nothing to do with admins, it's done by hackers.

I've just been playing on the server myself and encountered a hacker. At first I literally just spawned at the coast, got picked up by the guy in the heli thought ''dafuk'' but okay...went to some sort of airstrip across the map picked up a sh*t ton of stuff. But got really paranoid the second I noticed all of the flies and dead bodies...he didn't kill me, but we got back into the chopper. There was another guy with us...RIP.

Took me out of the airstrip and landed, spawned a sh*t load of cars and stuff, I didn't really know what to do so I played around, he came back I didn't get his plan so I went off into the forest. He randomly spawned into the forest where I was...I decided to just hedge my bets and leave the server and game.

Later I will find out if I have a damn character left or if I have to start from scratch since I've no idea if he can f*ck me up even though I've left the game.

I have to say though, I fell out of the chopper when I first landed, and nearly died but he saved my life so I'm totally glad about that

Also, I didn't see his name what so ever so I couldn't really help

Can i have the names of the hackers please if you caught them? Without having god mode or a fly cheat makes it immpossible pretty much to enforce anythin.

I'd of given a name but since its a Vet server I can't see nameplates. I wouldn't know any other way to find out his name either, unless there is another way? I'll keep my eyes peeled though it ruins the game, I just left because I didn't know what he was going to do next.

What's the difference between a veteran server and any other server?

Funny story:
Joined a server and ran to the nearest town/city, it wasn't that big, pretty sure it wasn't churno or electro.
Anyway the Zombie counter said about 130 Zombies, i was running around and a Chopper flies over, Nek Minute i literally have what must have been every ZOmbie on the server after me, i ran into the church and waited until they walked right up to the end of the isle and i still coudn't run out properly because of Zombies blocking the door and out into the street.

Then i ran to a building with two of those big red double doors and about 3 levels at one end of the building, and a ladder on one side.
Then a helicopter lands outside and i see the zombies getting gunned down like crazy, then i am dead.

I could not believe the amount of zombies chasing me!

From what I've been told, Vet servers have harder to kill zombies? Although I'm not 100% on that since they are usually easy to kill. Vet servers don't have name tags above players head which is good since you can roam around the woods and sh*t without people really knowing who you are, they are the only differences I know about Vet/normal servers.

I still dislike how I get knocked out by a zombie even though I'm well over 9000 health.

Recruit/Regular/Veteran servers all have the same zombies. I don't think it matters what your server is. Although usually recruit and regular servers have crosshairs, tags, 3DP and stuff on, while vet servers don't.

finally managed to dish out a ban for a hacker! check this topic out http://dayzmod.com/forum/index.php?/topic/...aforums-hacker/ shows the conversation between the people shes was helping/f*cking over or turning them into chickens! or rabbits disgraceful! although slightly entertaining!
