On another note, I'm expecting GTA V news just before E3, or during E3. If they launch a big good trailer 1-2 days before E3, then do not show up, that's going to get people talking. Didn't some analyst "predict" they would do exactly this?

Actually they didn't. There is a vast difference between promising and announcing plans. Their statements have been extremely vague too. Businesses making promises to fans is rare.

*I wouldn't expect any info on a weekend either.

They didn't announce anything on that site. GTAV's site is useless and 100% inactive on R*'s part right now and will be until they are ready to start marketing it.

*On R*'s site, they announced plans to have info in the coming months. A promise is a commitment. This wasn't a commitment. It was just another way of saying, "We don't want to give an exact date, because we'd like you GTAV fans to later come here for GTAV info. and see MP3 promos. and maybe...just maybe...we can sway a few more into buying MP3. Also, announcing and sticking to exact dates isn't our strong suit."
