Not sure off the top of my head. Sounds like Royksopp. Have you got a series and episode number? May be able to do some digging.

I'm not sure, I just get that vibe. I did think it was a Boys Noize remix of something when I first heard it, but then realised how old this episode was. That in turn made me feel a little old.

Anyway, I hope you're still keeping tabs on this topic because I found a forum dedicated to finding songs from Top Gear episodes so that should help. My internet is pants lately or else I'd have a look through for you and find it. I'm sure you'll find it there.
