gtx 550ti is god enough at certain resolutions. its just not worth $100 or more, especially with the budget kepler cards coming out:

but i want to get away from blanket assumptions that this card or that card is whatever, because my gtx 285 complements my q6600 G0 better than either gtx 465 or 768mb gtx 460 - i had to turn settings down on the latter, while using my X243w (1920x1200)
i am starting to think texture units and bus sizes are playing a part in gta IV performance also.
probably the best card for gta IV i have owned as far as power consumption vs performance:

yeah, that may even run with full traffic and all the bells and whistles. i have seen their ads and yoyotech's also in custompc.

Hi,will certainly expect it to run gta4 & all latest games out at the moment & this system gets good reviews,I also added an ssd drive so my windows should boot in about 10 sec so I read on a review,I read also that the gtx 550 comes over clocked like the CPU so this should be lightning quick & so it should be for £1000 !!!!

Hi,got my new system up & running & it runs gta4 maxed out with ease,what a difference it's like a completely new game,everything is so clear & detail in the game is outstanding,thanks for the advice to check out overclockers uk,I'm now trying other games that ran poorly on my old system & so far they are flawless,what a beast this system is I would recommend it to anyone
