I just saw a deal on gamestop that if you buy a ps3 or an xbox 360 you get one of these two games for free. (Mortal Kombat Komplete Edition or Batman Arkham City). For just 200$!!!
I am gonna buy a ps3 so which one of these games should I get?
I really wanna play both of them but still, what do you think I should get?

Two very different games there, so it's basically down to what you feel you'd get the most enjoyment out of. One's a fighting game, whereas the other is action/adventure...and the majority of people on this forum would say to go for Batman.

i got mine in the store, it's not just an online promotion as far as i know. i would go ahead and call the store first though just to make sure.

Is this a local thing, or store-wide? I've been thinking about getting a PS3, but didn't want to spend the $250 for one and then spend more on a game or two.

It really doesn't matter which game they give me, though I'd prefer the one with a higher trade-in value. Because, even if I do get a PS3, it's only going to be used for PS3 exclusives. I really prefer the Xbox 360 over everything else. So the other consoles that I buy are only used for Exclusives.
