Hey guys, I know many people were excited that GTA V would take place outside of the US, but since we now all know the location it got me wondering. Where could 6 be set?
Now I am from Australia so I might sound a little biased here but I honestly could not think of a better location for GTA 6. I think Europe doesn't have the same feel that would work with GTA unless it was to be based in the UK.
Asia would not work as most of it is still developing so to speak and doesnt have the makeup for a GTA, unless we are talking about Japan but there are enough games set there already.
The GTA franchise has already milked America quite a lot and I don't really see anywhere in the US they could go that they haven't already done.
So that left me with Australia, and the cities they could play around with might be either Sydney and Melbourne and possibly Brisbane.
Each of those three cities has a distinct feel to them especially the rivalry between Sydney and Melbourne.
There could be so many new things available to GTA to work with in this location and I think it would definately give a fresh direction for them to work with.
