Hi guys,
Well I have finally completed the storyline for the 4th time now I have played it through and I really enjoyed it, game says 39 hrs playing time, learnt how to control the hydra jet properly, haven't got 100% I am at 75% i still have 27 oysters to get and the horseshoes and a few other bits and pieces.
Anyway, in the cutscene RIOT, the crew are watching TV about Tenpenny being in court and that Pulaski was thought to be in hiding...then the screen goes blank...
Then it comes back on, with the TV announcer saying they are emerging from court.
Did Rockstar make a mistake here with the blank screen? Did they change the script at the last minute and thus we got a blank screen which wasn't fixed? What's going on here?
(This is on Ps2, May 2010 cd was purchased, no scratches or damage)

Perhaps it was meant to be a way of showing that some time had past, maybe a couple minutes. Or maybe it was the end of the broadcast, and within seconds they cut back into the broadcast to show the breaking news.

Hmmm, maybe you are right. It just felt like something was missing. When I got the blank screen I thought 'What the?' and I was thinking cd was damaged but it is fine, like brand new

Yeah, it's not a disk thing. It happens on my game also. Xbox original.

It's scripted. As said, it can be a time passing scene. So they were watching the news when Tenpenny wasn't charged for anything on court, then I guess that could have been an ad break and back to the news, showing CRASH emerging from the court.

Never occured to me as something extraordinary. They often use this fade out-in technique in films - "2 weeks later"...

It's not glitch, it's common sense to know that it is related to the cutscene, like 5 minutes later... etc
