Ok, I'm a regular visitor to read this forum but now I've began posting, ive Rascalov'd this website while Faustin'ing your forums. So hear me out.

There's been quite a debate and speculation do we see a return of Niko in V? I say yes. First off we all remember the plane ticket with his name going to SA.

Second of all Niko is part of the HD generation so him showing up in V is fair game from R* perspective, second in future games (PS4, Xbox 720 gen) I highly doubt we'll ever see Niko again, so why wouldn't R* give us 1 of our favorite characters as a last hooray.

Finally it's no secret R* ended on bad terms with Niko's voice actor, so I think their may be a mission in V where someone tells us to go kill him, thus fully ending Niko's story.

Just an idea/thought let me know what role u think Niko will play on V as a cameo or possible antagonist.

Note: I am very good with predicting these things back when they announced GTA IV I predicted it would be called "Grand Theft Auto IV" and I was right.

I can actually see you killing Niko in GTAV. I would hate to do it because I liked & respected Niko, but drama makes for a great game.

yeah Packie was the only character I liked from IV other than niko (cause he was Irish ) I'd also hate to see niko die in V.

The closest the GTA series has come to revealing the fate of a protagonist after you'd played him is Rosenberg trying to get a call through to Tommy in the Introduction movie of GTA SA — and that doesn't reveal much.

(The Stories games were prequels so you already knew what happened to those guys.)

This might be deliberate, to protect the player's ownership of the character's personality and choices as played.

Personally, I wouldn't want him to - he belongs in Liberty. And most IV's characters were dull anyway.

And if he does, then Rockstar can f*ck themselves. Because claiming that they have 'different universes' and have separated Tommy, Claude, CJ etc into the 'III' era and Niko, Johnny and Luiz into the 'IV' era - then the same should apply here.

It's their own fault for making this a 'V' title - by doing that, they've created a new 'era' already, regardless of whether it's running on RAGE or not. So it's just abit contradicting to cross two universes/eras but not a 'III Era' character to appear.

I can see it now, it's one of those missions where you have a choice to kill them. You find Niko, and are about to shoot him. You can,
A. Kill Niko, he will use pre-recorded lines from the previous game.
or
B. Walk away.

Option A is pretty basic, but option B...Once you begin to walk away, the protagonist will stop in his tracks, and say "Oh....and Niko," then turn around and shoot Niko in the head. Then maybe continue the sentence, depending on the reason why he is there to kill Niko. I can see it being very dramatic, and a hard choice for the player since Niko was a favorite to many.

Actually, eras are differentiated by consoles. Right now we are in the Third Era, or the "IV" era as some call it (this makes no sense though)

Next-Gen Playstation and Xbox will bring forth the Fourth era

When Rockstar has said what separates the worlds — graphics — it's not their fault if anyone keeps insisting a number in the title means anything.

Believe it or not, after GTA IV TBOGT came out, I don't know how I did it, but I actually predicted GTA V. Amazing right?

Good ideas but i dont think they would make us kill nico it would be too hard lol i know its only a game but it would ruin the story for me if that was to happen.

I'd really like to hear/see something about Niko, or Packie in GTAV, it would be pretty neat. Even if we can't physically see them, it would be pretty cool to have a Newsflash about crimes that were going on in the city; similar to in previous GTA's, just unrelated to the story. At least then, we have an idea as to what Niko's up to.

I doubt even seeing Niko return at all, even as a cameo.
Rockstar didn't even record new lines for Niko for the DLC after Michael Hollick had a big bitch about his pay.
He earned about $115 000 (He says) Over 15months, considering how big a game title such as Grand Theft Auto maybe he wasn't getting paid enough, but he agreed to the deal at the beginning of the 15months of voice work, if he didn't get paid enough it's his own fault and bitching about it just made Rockstar dislike the man and consequently he got no new lines in TLAD.

SO i doubt that he will return.
