You may think you never heard this before in a grand theft auto Trailer or Game, right ?
Well, you are wrong.

I just played Vice City and made the last mission again. After you killed sonny a movie shows up. In that movie, Ken asks you what the hell was going on etc... than, before you answer, you just say: You know how it is and continue with your speech. Since the protagonist looks like an older version of Tommy Vercitti, it could be probably true that the protagonist in V is Tommy Vercitti. He gone down to Los Santos to enjoy the rest of his life. Just like he said in the Trailer. Could that be a possibility ?

As mentioned...

1. This has been brought up before. It's a common saying, so it wouldn't be surprising to hear it in more than one game. If we cross-analyzed everytime a certain saying was said, we'd go dizzy from the fumes.
2. The III era is dead. The two characters may look alike to some (I don't quite see it myself) but the III ended in 2007 with the introduction and announcement of IV.
