So I've been getting into surf some more. Dick Dale, The Ventures, Man or Astro-Man? are pretty much all I know right now. Anybody have any good suggestions?

Not really traditional surf music but have you ever checked out The Cramps? They have a wacky rockabilly, punk, surf sound.
And hey they even cover(ed) Surfin' Bird.
Most of their stuff is sexual innuendo.
Come to think of it, they might actually be considered surf music, just not the same genera of surf music that we think of when thinking of surf music. I was turned on to them by a California surf dude even .
The Cramps are great in a skeezy sort of way. I don't listen to them that often, but one of my local bars has them on the jukebox, and they're a fun time to play.
The only surf music I've ever really encountered (that hasn't been mentioned) is the material found on the Pulp Fiction soundtrack. One stand-out track is by The Lively Ones, but I'm not sure what the rest of their back catalog sounds like.
