Hi Everyone,

Actually in the beginning of the game, I am confused regarding the mission of the barber when it asks me to take Ryder with his car directly to the barber. I drive the car to the red marker then I touch the yellow marker directly inside the barber shop where it asks me to walk into the red marker to get haircut, but the problem is that I cannot find the red marker after many trials.

I have passed this mission long time ago but i cannot remember, so your support will be highly appreciated.

It should be as simple as walking between the Chairs.
Cut scene is CJ sitting down and the Hair cut menu appearing.

Have you modded the game?
Are you playing with the Original DVD in the Drive?

First of all, I would like to thank you for your support and help.

Actually, if you mean that I have modified mods "Cars" in the game, so it's totally right. As a result, Does it cause any problems in missions ? taking into your kind consideration that the first mission has been passed successfully.

Please advise as I cannot proceed with the next missions unless I pass the current one as you know.

ANY modification of the Game may lead to unexpected problems with missions.
Cracking a Disk Game is modding.
Downloaded warez/torrent games are modded games.
Replacing vehicles may lead to problems if the replaced vehicle is required in a mission.

Use the Samutz's Uploader/Downloader: http://www.gtasnp.com/
to upload copy/paste your current save game. We can take a look to see if the save is 'corrupted', and maybe pass it for you, so you can move on, for a while at least.

Ok. I'll take a look.

Well, whatever is the problem it won't play for me.
Crashs back to Desk top despite trying to use both the V1 and V2 scripts.

Looks like you'll have to reinstall without mods and try again, unless someone has another help for you.

I'll check out the save and post back my findings...

Chances are, you have a modified main.scm, as the game crashed when I tried it, with both V1 and V2 scripts(I have a natural V2 game, but used V1 scripts from an old Chain Game round)...

Not unless someone like OrionSR sees this topic, as he knows A LOT about reading save games and scripts(after all, he is one of the creators of the Chain Game save, which is a modified save file designed to work on ALL 3 game versions)..Rubregg and Pdescobar are the other two really knowledgeable ones in that department, however, they haven't been on here in a long while...

I'll let you know if I can come up with a solution for you though..

I don't think I'll be able to help with this save. If the save won't load with v1 or v2 scripts then I won't be able to test anything. If the save isn't compatible with v1 or v2 then perhaps there is something wrong with the scripts.

Was the barber in the barbershop?

Just so I understand the situation: CJ drives Ryder to the barbershop and parks in the large red mission sphere (I know it's a cylinder but the scripting references always calls them spheres). CJ walks into the yellow enex marker and is teleported into a barbershop. However, there is no barber and no small red sphere so you can not continue with the mission.

I know how to screw up my ipl files to make this happen, so maybe there is a problem with your data files. All I can suggest is to reinstall the game and try again.
