 Height in cutscenes VS height in gameplay

Normally in a game their are two models of characters.

Cinematic Characters, such as the Playboy X you meet first, who are programmed to do the things they do in cutscenes; and then the normal characters, who are programmed with a preset AI that is different from the Cinematic Character.

The RAGE emgine is impressive, it's no CryEngine but it's not "sh*tty". I had never even noticed the character size issues until now.

This issue has annoyed me since GTA3. In GTA:SA quite a lot of doors was like the double height of the player, with a doorknob in same height as the head... In GTA IV I haven't noticed so many huge size differences, except for the oversized rolls royce in tbogt.
