Little Italy, New York City, 1936. Johnny Trapani, the father of Aldo Trapani, is killed by the Barzini family. He was always loyal to the Corleone... he died for that loyalty. Now, 1945, Aldo is in trouble. His worried mother asks Don Vito Corleone to look after him. Don Corleone sends Luca Brasi to recruit Aldo and teach him the ways of the mafia. From then, Aldo is taken under the Corleone family's wing and works his way up in the family...
The once-powerful crime Family is based in central Manhattan, in Little Italy, and are troubled by increasingly daring raids by the Tattaglias based in Brooklyn (even though every family has influence in Little Italy). Little Italy has streets of moderately poor local shops run by well-established Families. Don Vito Corleone heads the Corleone family.
The Barzini family
The Barzini family hails from Midtown, the richest community in New York City, making them the richest and most powerful family in New York City. The Barzinis are headed by the main antagonist, Don Emilio Barzini, who rules with an iron fist. He ordered the murder of aldo's father, and is rumored to be in control of another New York Family.
The Tattaglia family
The Tattaglia family dominates Brooklyn, owning almost every business in Brooklyn. The Tattaglia family has a serious rivalry with the Corleone family because of their business expansion into Little Italy, the Corleone's turf. Don Philip Tattaglia heads the Tattaglia Family, and his son Bruno is next in line to become Don of the Tattaglia Family.
The Cuneo family
The Cuneo family hails from Hell's Kitchen. The Cuneo family isn't as rich as the other families, owning few businesses. Don Carmine Cuneo heads the Cuneo Family. They are ruthless killers, excellent marksmen, and always appear in large groups largely due to the environment of Hell's Kitchen, which is run down and filled with poor communities.
The Stracci family
The Stracci family is based in New Jersey. Don Victor Stracci heads the Stracci Family. During daytime the neighborhood looks quite peaceful, with fancy houses and well-groomed parks, but at night, it becomes much more dangerous. The Straccis are the most cruel and vicious family.

Hello everyone,
Today, I'm going to review 7 missions made by ThaBoY. They're part of his The Godfather series. Please click on the link below in order to view the topic and find links to download them: http://www.gtaforums.com/index.php?showtopic=506945
Now, it's time for the review,
- Writing:Very good. There were very few noticeable typos in the objective description text, but they didn't do any harm because they were still understandable. - Presentation:Very good. The angle of the focus of cutscenes was perfect. The cutscenes were creative and lively with shootouts, explosions and the actors given appropriate animations.
The Introduction - Length:Decent, as it takes about 4 minutes to complete. The mission is the introduction to the series. It shows a bakery being exploded by the Don Barzini's men. Johnny has to beat them up and then he is killed in an ambush. Aldo sees the body, but Don Corleone tells him to take revenge when the time is right. - Difficulty:Easy. Most of the mission is composed of cutscenes. There is an alley brawl where the player is unarmed at first and is fighting Don Barzini's men who carries baseball bats. The player can easily get the baseball bat after killing the first guy and can be used to easily kill the other three. - Variety:Decent. Characters include Johnny, Don Corleone, Luca, Sarafina, Aldo, Don Barzini and his men. Weapons include baseball bat.
The Alley - Length:Decent, as it takes about 4 minutes to do. The mission involves Luca giving a basic training to Aldo. Aldo has to take down two guys who were about to be shot by another. Luca kills the other guy and leaves the other two in the hands of Aldo. - Difficulty:Easy. The player has to fight two guys, one at a time, which makes the mission easy. Then there is a driving part where the player has to drive to the Corleone's safe house. - Variety:Decent. Characters include Don Corleone, Sarafina, Luca Aldo and three other unnamed guys with different skins.
The Enforcer - Length: Decent, as it takes about 4 minutes to do. Luca orders Aldo to meet Emilio and ask him to give the Coleone's protection money. Emilio doesn't agree and is reminded why he needs the protection. After that he is met by a sergeant who asks him for something. Then he goes and hands over the money to Luca. Luca then tells Aldo to meet Paulie Gato in the bar. - Difficulty:Very easy. The player has to beat down Emilio who is unarmed. The rest of the mission is just cutscenes. - Variety:Could be better. Characters include Luca, Aldo, Emilio, Sergeant.
A Grave Situaton - Length: Good, as it takes about 5 minutes to complete. Aldo meets with Paulie and Marty Malone, better known as Monk. They tell Aldo that they need to beat up some guys who messed up with the undertaker's daughter. They go to the cemetery and beat them up. - Difficulty:Very Easy. The mission involves a fist fight where Paulie, Monk and Aldo beats up the two unarmed punks. The missions becomes very easy because of the difference in number with the player in advantage. - Variety:Could be better. Characters include Aldo, Paulie and Monk.
Sleeping with the Fishes - Length: Excellent, as it takes about 12 minutes to complete. Aldo is first given a basic weapons training. Then he is told to watch over a secret meeting. The meeting turns out to be an ambush where Luca is killed. Aldo is then attacked by the ambushers. He kills all of them including the assassin of Luca. He then escapes the to his safe house under a three star wanted level. - Difficulty:Hard. The training part is very easy. The time limit to go to the meeting place is also more than required to reach there. But the gunfights can be difficult because of the huge number of enemies with good accuracies. The final driving part which also involves a time limit is fairly easy. - Variety:Decent. Characters include Aldo, Luca and the ambushers. Weapons include the pistols. Vehicles include Clover.
The Don is dead - Length: Excellent, as it takes about 13 minutes to complete. The mission shows some hitmen taking Don Corleone down. Aldo meets someone who gives him a car to follow an ambulance. Some Capo follows them. They attack Aldo once they are on the bridge. Aldo takes all of them down and drives the ambulance to the hospital. There he meets with some other stranger. - Difficulty:Hard. It can be easy to lose track of the ambulance as the Capos are attacking the player from behind. The bugged route of the ambulance also makes it tiring to play because the it is impossible to finish the mission if the ambulance doesn't reach its destination. - Variety:Good. Characters include Aldo, Barber, Don Corleone, Frankie, Capos, and two unnamed guys. Vehicles include ambulance and the vehicle being used by the Capos. Weapons include pistol.
The Enforcer - Length: Too Short, as it takes less than a minute. The mission shows Aldo being appointed as the Enforcer by Clemenza. - Difficulty:Very easy. The mission only includes cutscenes. - Variety:Could be better. Characters include Clemenza and Aldo.
Overall, the missions are good. The length of some missions can be improved by adding some more dialogues/cutscenes. The difficulty of the first four missions is very easy and can be improved by increasing the number of enemies or giving them some weapons. But the difficulty is understandable because the missions are just the first of the series. Nevertheless, the author did a good job in the designing of the missions and should keep up with it.

Here's the review:
Writings:Excellent - I barely see writings mistakes in the missions. Nice using on text coloring Presentation:Excellent - The cutscenes generally have great angles with perfectly timed cutscenes.
Mickey Saleri
Length:Short - It can be done in 2 minutes. Aldo, as the new Enforcer of the Corleone Family, meet up with Tessio, a high ranking members of the Corleone Family. Aldo must take down a Tattaglia family member in Burger Shot Difficulty:Easy - The player just have to beat down a Tattaglia family member, nothing much Variety:Could be Better - As the mission consist of 4 different actors and 1 different car
Intensive Care
Length:Very Good - It can be done in 8 minutes. Some cops are holding up in the hospital where the Don is held, and Clemenza don't trust them. Aldo and Frankie will be ambushed by some Tattaglia family members Difficulty:Medium - Firstly Aldo need to kill a Tattaglia family member armed with 9mm, while Aldo is unarmed. The player must find their own ammo by killing the enemies. The enemies have low health with medium accuracies, while some of them have their headshots turned on Variety:Good - As the mission consist of 10 different actors, 1 weapon (9mm) and 2 vehicles
Donnie Marelli
Length:Decent - It can be done in 4 minutes. This time, Tessio give Aldo a job to defeat Donnie Marelli, a high ranking Tattaglia member near a Corleone Safehouse Difficulty:Hard - You will be given a bat, while there are a lot of enemies armed with 9mm, and have medium accuracies, plus a time limit makes the mission harder Variety:Good - As the mission consist of several different actors and several different cars.
Fireworks
Length:Good - It can be done in 7 minutes. Aldo receives a hot ticket to a party at Rosa's from Clemenza. Expect bad things will happens at the party Difficulty:Very Hard - Firstly we drive to the Rosa's. After the Sergeant ruin the party, you must rally a stealth in the back alley. The enemies have very high accuracies and have powerful weapons like Shotguns. It really hard to learn their route points. The rest of the mission is easy Variety:Very Good - High variety of actors and objects, 3 different cars and huge variety of weapons are seen in this mission
Tony Bianchi
Length:Short - It can be done in 2 minutes. As Aldo returned to the compound, Tessio give him a job, something big this time Difficulty:Medium - The mission generally is stealth. The player just need to find Tony in this house. Watch out because if you pick a wrong room, you're a dead man in seconds Variety:Decent - As the mission consist of 5 different actors, little variety of weapons and cars
Associate
Length:Short - It can be done in 1 minute. In this mission, Aldo is trusted to be an Associate in the Corleone family Difficulty:Very Easy - The missions only includes cutscenes Variety:Could be Better - The mission consist of 3 different actors
Overall, the missions are good. I enjoyed most of them, even though some of them have little or no action involved. A very good copy from the original "The Godfather" game. Some of the missions have high difficulty, it can be enjoyable for some players but can stressed some average player (Like in the mission "Fireworks"). The author have done a good job in designing in this mission and should keep up the good work
**This mission pack, or parts of it, are made with DYOM v6.1** **For the best experience, chapter one and two should be played with DYOM v6.1**
Before I made this, I performed a search. I saw that 2 other also made a mission pack and/or storyline about The Godfather. One of them is banned, and one of them made it, but not really like The Godfather. So, please don't blame me for copying and stuff, because I'm going to make it the same as The Godfather game.
Also, forgive me for the skins in used. Those were the best I could use.
I just found out that 1 missions is bugged. I 'll fix it ASAP.Fixed.
- Nice designing, the place looks pretty cool for the scene. - The skin for Don Corleone isn't suit at all. He looks young. But I know you'll change the skin. - Why don't you use weapons for the alleyway scene? It's better in my opinion. But, it's your choice.
