GOG.com (Good Old Games) has a talented crew that fixes old games to run on newer systems, such as Win7. They've already put out many old games, packed with extra stuff (artworks, manual, soundtrack, etc.) that function perfectly on Windows 7.

They have a Wishlist, on which fans can request any game. The list now has GTA1, GTA London 1969, GTA London 1961 and GTA2. Although three of these are free, they still don't work perfectly on new systems. Win7 corrupts GTA1 save files, London 1961 has CD issues, so on.

If you like those classics and want a revised version with extra goodies, please vote: smile.gif

I'll vote. I'm currently working on a setup that plays GTA1 & London, just waiting on my replacement discs to arrive from Amazon so I can get the music.

It works fine if you use a version of DOSBox that supports a 3DFX wrapper. The rest is just writing .bat files and shortcuts to execute everything properly.
