- Where exactly in the game you experienced the issue (start screen, while playing the game, etc.)
- What version of the game you have (retail, steam, other online store)
- What is your OS
- Benchmark info or DxDiag is also helpful

You can't disable it, sadly. A lot of people have been running into this problem. The fact is, the system should handle those requests automatically, but it seems GTAIV is just not detected as a 3D application and that's quite sad as the game is otherwise coded perfectly. You approach may work, try adding both LaunchGTAIV.exe and GTAIV.exe to that list. Only the latter is the actual "3D" application. What worked for some other people was a) updating GPU drivers b) using norestrictions commandline http://www.gtaforums.com/index.php?showtopic=458859Do note that GT525M is not an actual gaming device and you have chosen probably the most demanding game of all times to play on that laptop.
