If R* made a San Andreas stories or Episodes from San Andreas style game set in the GTA San Andreas era, what do you think it should have been about?

It's pretty hard to think about, since it was a pretty self contained story, but I think the build-up of Grove Street to a huge gang would make a good game. Where you play as Sweet or something.

(If anyone brings up the search bar, I used it, didnt see anything, I cant be assed to search every form of a topic title there could be because some illiterate loser decided to title it Evry 1's fav m0m3nt?? or something.)

Nah, I'd focus on the gang life and basically show how ryder and smole betrayed the GFS families by teaming up with the ballas and Tenpenny and killing both CJ's little brother and his mum and then much more. You could focus maybe on SF and LV as well, when there was no like Loco Syandacite and people are worried because they hear of one forming. All that stuff would be cool. You could play as sweet, but maybe a different character would be best.

I had plans for a Los Santos Stories concept that was gonna be about Sweet somewhere between 1987-1992. I think it'd be a pretty reasonable idea even though it will never happen. San Fierro and Las Venturas wouldn't really have any business being in the game, so Los Santos as one island would work.

Of course, because playing as teenager fits GTA like nothing else.

GTA San Andreas got it's stories, because everything that needs to be covered was done in introduction movie. We've seen beginning of the Loco Syndicate, we've seen beginning of mafias problems in LV and we've seen the introduction of the crack in the LS. What else we could see there? Of course they could make story about Sweet when Families meant something, but game based only on gang wars, which were boring and annoying as hell isn't good idea. And having another narrow minded gagn banger would be just like playing the same game.

There is another problem, because I can't see another character that would make good protagonist.

I don't think it would be all too far-fetched in another gang GTA, especially considering it was a Stories game; Rockstar retconned before in the good Stories game, who's to say they wouldn't have done it again?

I had an idea for SAS quite some time ago that revolved around that guy Mickey we see being buried by the two goons in the introduction.

The idea is that the story would be set around 88/89 and the protagonist "Irish" Mickey Callaghan would be an Irish-American bookie from Liberty or Carcer City (I hadn't really decided), a mob associate of no particular affiliation who travels to San Andreas and takes up work with the Los Santos based Mancini Crime Family (based on the real life Los Angeles Crime Family) who are all but disbanded by 1992. Through dealing Cocaine for the Mancinis he would become affiliated with other gangs such as the The Ballas and the Los Santos Vagos (working against the GSF and Varrios Los Aztecas). After working for the Mancinis for a while Mickey would move to San Fierro and start working for the Sindaccos which would eventually allow him to move to Las Venturas (and ultimately take over the management of Caligula's Casino). By the end of the game Mickey would own several businesses and manage the Casino, all making him a weekly income to spend on guns, cars and properties.

to find a plausible protagonist, we must think about a previous character in san andreas that was in the city 2-3 year earlier, had a criminal background, had a small/medium role in the original game (toni was only one of the bosses, and vic... well, he died in the first mission ), and he could be an enemy (since every "stories" show us the other side of the crime world, the mafia in LCS and Diaz/mendez in LCS)


i don't remember all the characters in SA... there's someone that match this description?

I think if Rockstar were to re-release III, VC and SA in HD it would give them a good excuse to release a HD San Andreas Stories set in the III era. They're never gonna do it but people would definitely buy it, even if the whole game revolved around OG Loc getting f*cked in the ass by Freddie in prison... think of it as hot coffee 2.0

I don't have Liberty City Stories or Vice City Stories because I don't own a PS2 or a PSP. I hope they rerelease it on another platform.
