Adequate**, f'ck sake.

Hey guys.

I've been on the fence as to whether my PC will run San Andreas or not.

My PC Specs are:

Intel Celeron D @ 3.33GHz (outdated as f'ck, I know)
ATI Radeon x600 series 128mb DX9 Compatible Video Card
3GB RAM
Win7 Home 64-bit
48.7GB Free

Anything else you need to know, let me know.

I'm purchasing a new PC in a couple months, but this'll (hopefully) do until then. I've been on several sites; one said the specs would run the game at a medium setting, but another said the video card should be updated. Meanwhile, a YouTuber stated a Single-Core CPU wouldn't run the game? Neither would a 128mb video card? I just wanted to know if my PC is going to run the game or not, specifically from you guys.

TIA.

Apologies if this is in the wrong section of the forums, also.

I see no problems about your pc's specs. I am running SA on the 2.8 GHz Celeron and 1GB DDR2 with 256 intel graphic (my uncle's is 64 Mb, but it can still playable). It may be little lagging but for sure, I can play it by lowering all the settings.

Cool, thanks kml! smile.gif

EDIT:

Ok, apparently now my video card is being identified as a Radeon x300/550/1050 series, with the "Video Processor" being labelled as a RADEON x600. I'm really not understanding this now, can someone enlighten me? And will SA still run now that my video card has magically changed its identity?

TIA.

EDIT 2: I'm not understanding this...

Can anyone help me here? Every time I take one step in the right direction there's another f'cking roadblock.

Pretty much ANY PC will run SA(and VC and III for that matter), as I used to run the game perfectly fine(and played many of Chain Game turns) on a laptop with an AMD Sempron processor @798MHZ, 256MB DDR Ram(1GB now), a VIA/SIS video card w/32MB Vram and XP Home SP2...So, if the game runs fine on that laptop, that pretty much mean just about any PC should have no problems with it..? confused.gif

All you have to do, is install the game, set everything to the lowest settings and go from there...the ONLY tried and true method to determine if a game works or not, as that is the common sense approach in my opinion. No offence..
