I have googled and yahoo'd to death and it seems I may be the first to have this issue...

My music, well even the original music, in game.. plays 30 seconds of a song, or commercial, then skips to the next track in line. They do not ever complete a full song. It's quite annoying and I've done everything short of a complete reinstall. Repairs, although that never works. I have no mods or scripts. The game is pretty much bone stock.

The simplest answer I know is to re-install the game but I would like to avoid that if I can.
Does anyone have a solution?

Try creating your own MP3 file with a safe codec (like lame mp3), place that one file into the user music folder, start the game, scan for new tracks and check out the radio station.
