 Story Board - Mission Creation

We used an american gta-vc.exe - in time other exe versions like the UK version would have been included.

All the hacks was included to make the changes we needed to run the game without the old gtasol.exe.

The gtasol.exe belongs to beta 52.0 and has nothing to do with the justins SOL Online hacks.

Before we merged we used the gtasol.exe, but we abandoned this for softpatching everything from scratch, new dll and launcher.

Now we sadly split up, I am left using the old gtasol.exe once again, only way we can run the mod until this is replaced.

Well, not really. We wouldn't be stuck with an old gtasol.exe if the split had gone 100 % brilliantly.
I feel the setup of the GTASol Online was completely wrong, it was too much like a company and not enough focus on it being part of the modding community.
It was way too formal and way too secret.
Unfortunately my style of modding didn't gel with Regex's style and when we split he gave me what he felt SOL needed and no more.
I did email him regarding this but the reply was, "I have provided everything directly applicable to SOL to you (perhaps with some extra code), as mentioned in the e-mail.If something does not appear to be applicable to SOL, then it isn't. If something appears to be absent, then it isn't directly related to SOL."

So - there you go.

Something Similar to Vice city/San Andreas. Build a criminal empire/gang in Liberty City, then do the same in Vice, then take over LS, SF, LV (maybe meeting past protagonists). Maybe a double ending like IV.

What was good about San Andreas is you get so many experiences. You go from gangster, to countryside bank robber, work with triads, work with Toreno's drug smuggling ring, work for Toreno's goverment agency, work for the Police (Tenpenny), work for the Leone mob, become a manager and back to a gangster. So something similar would be good.

The Forelli's were in LC, VC and LV, so maybe they could be antagonists.

Hmm... Empire Buildings from VCS in my opinion is "must be" in SOL. We need a serious story, not something like SA where we are working for over9000 "organizations" because want money etc etc.

I don't have idea for story. Maybe something like Max Payne or story from one of movies OR mix them all hehe.

Each map section could have its on story somehow related to the next.

I would like to be able to play a police officer in a corrupt police department.

Also the Mob as I liked the ending of GTAIII.

The other sections could have there own character.

I like the "Maybe something like Max Payne" thing, the character could be a man looking for revenge after his family and girlfriend is assassinated.

I've also thought in making the main character from another country, just like IV used, altough i think he should be British...

EDIT: What if we could also have races (similar to Midnight Club) during some missions and as submissions (like in SA) in the mod? Maybe it would be interesting, maybe it wouldn't, i don't know...

The Spawning system for starting the game without the player drowning.

This was never fixed.

Also we have moved the coords back to there original position like they was in beta 69.0

Actually one reason was Moving things that are not controlled by the SCM, they were a problem as Swoorup had to somehow find out how to move some impossible objects and it is a waste of his time when he could be working on important hacks.

I would want the story line to be as dynamic as possible.

We could have more then one person in their own time line for each chapter of the story.

I would like a woman maybe mid 30's and 2 Male characters to interact with? girlfriends etc.

Also being able to play a police officer from the start in a corrupt department. this would be a nice start to the game unlike any other GTA beginning, how this police officer turns to organized crime bosses for help..

Your the writer M8 so lets get this started.

It's good idea to make the story line.
I think about making some profession. For example - to carry goods from the point a to point b. (from LC - > SA)
And you got the something money.
+ need to make the purchase of houses
