Well, I tried 3D at the store, my sister and her hubby have a nice 47 inch or thereabouts Panasonic 3D TV, but the glasses for it are MIA, Active Shutter I imagine, anywho, I'd like to see it in 3D, Avatar came out on BD 3D, and that's a nice transition now from screen to home with the tech.
It's the 100th Anniversary they announced a National Geo show coming up and an interview on TV today with Bob Ballard about the Crow's Nest and other parts of the actual shipwreck being stolen by tourists who are looting the site, basically. A HISTORICALLY SIGNIFICANT site, and I believe this is just sad, so I hope they can get the laws in place to stop such things from happening. I noted first off that Titanic was one of several stories in the latest Time magazine about the greatest man-made disasters, it'd be interesting to look at without buying it.
The connection to RDR is worth a mention here, don't think it doesn't merit observation, it gives an idea of the events of that time period. I'm sure you know all about it first hand, eh??

| QUOTE (Slamman @ Tuesday, Apr 3 2012, 05:53) | Ok, I know I don't put a lot of effort into many posts, this is no exception, I just think this is a story anyone who's a Cameron fan or liked the movie Titanic will enjoy

Funny I think. Been seeing TV ads, not just being shown theatrically in 3D, it's also on IMAX screens, so maybe worth it, considering the time of the actual event falls along the time that Red Dead Redemption takes place, 1911 to 1914!! | Experiencing this tommorow morning in IMAX 3D. Most 3D conversions take 6 weeks. This took 60.
