I'm going to be buying part's for the new unit I'm building and I need straightforward answer's...

I'm only building this for STRICTLY IV (sound's like a waste but it really isn't to me...) and I have a few concern's...

Should I go with a 2700k or a 3820? Or maybe a 2600k? I don't know a lot about this kinda' sh*t but I do know that I just need the best for this game.

I'm also planning on getting a 680, too.

Thank's! inlove.gif

Quick edit: Sorry for grammar mistake's; on my phone. tounge.gif

2500k/2600k/2700k, because processor and motherboard are cheaper.

Price is not a problem, to be honest.

Not to be concieted but I just want the best I can get for this game... icon14.gif

Not really, it's just a die shrink of sandy bridge.

I would just stick with the 2500k and a good Z68 board to overclock it. The 3820 will be slower than 2*00k, because it doesn't have an unlocked multi.

This guy's not looking for advice, he just wanted to boast about the (most probably) new alienware prebuilt he's gonna get.

Who? Me?

I'm building mine myself... sarcasm.gif

And, if you are talking to me, I'm obviously looking for advice if I'm not sure what CPU would be best for this game.

Please don't talk sh*t if you have nothing else to contribute. icon14.gif

Quick edit: Alienware's probably don't even come with 3820's, let alone a 680... facedesk.gif
