Def the best gaming magazine imo, and I can see it give us some juicy details when Rockstar decides to loosen its lips on GTA V, but I doubt it's any time soon.

I was reading another topic and thought about making a GI related thread, went back to the topics, and there it was!

If April 7-9 is when they're likely to announce the next issue, then I suppose we have something to look forward to and hope for. And I agree that they're more than likely going to get the GTA V exclusive, I just wonder if said exclusive is going to be our next bit of info.

Yeah, sincerally i don't expect anymore news in april or may... i think Rockstar will start the GTA Marketing (I'm sure it will be very very big) in June.

But there is a thing that lets me think... MP3 has been delayed, it would be out at the moment, considering the end-March release. So, 9 April would be perfect to start talking about GTA V... but MP3 isn't out, so, nothing.

of course we will have news in April or May, six months without news is too much, even with a come out in 2013. I also think GameInformer will be the first to give new information about gta v.

It's one of the three, May or June or July edition. May's edition is too good to be true in my opinion, but it may turn out to be true anyway, I hope. June's is more likely than July's given that Rockstar assured that new revelations are going to be made in a few months time back in February.

For curiosity, what makes Game Informer so special to have an exclusive revelation of almost all big budget titles? do they pay money to have it? good writing? because they can be manipulated easily?

Actually if you guys didn't know GI was owned by funcoLand and was offered with a funcoLand card subscription which is the same thing as GameStop is doing now.

GI has been top notch from the beginning and a lot of the same people are there. Also, the subscription is cheap and you get 10% used games and trade-ins at GameStop.

The March cover (The Last of Us) was revealed on February 2 and the April cover (Assassin's Creed III) was revealed on March 1. So that means the May cover should be revealed in just a few short days. Now I'm just wondering if Rockstar would make an announcement on the newswire before Game Informer would reveal a cover story. When they got the world exclusive GTA IV article, did Rockstar announce it first?

Don't forget it will be April 1st, so anything is possible. Including the impossible.
