Yet to see Anchorman. Sat down to watch it a few week back but ended up putting a Dirty Harry film on instead

Will Ferrell seems like a funny bloke though.

The Conan bit is just funny in the same way, visually, he looks the part and having the returning cast, I hope this comes to pass, Fred Willard is not some stuck up actor who would turn this down, I should think

Sixty percent of the time I'd agree with you every time, but I have to say Anchorman is an all around good comedy, everything from the over-the-top characters to the parody of the time period made it memorable.

I wonder what point in time the sequel will take place...

Well, I love Will Ferrell so I shall re-watch it and see if I change my mind. I still liked the film just didn't think it was amazing. Maybe I just caught the hype then when I actually got around to watching it I was underwhelmed. I'd blame myself first before I'd blame a film, unless it was Moulin Rouge, lol.

I can't see someone NOT laughing, his getup and delivery is so much fun, so I think it's like Austin Powers and Doctor Evil, for the audience that like the characters and the comedy associated with each, I hope and think they can do it justice. Can't wait for another Austin Powers comedy, which I believe they did green-light as well

I watched some of Kicking and Screaming which was on cable the other day, not my forte, the sports comedies but some of them are worth your time

I personally thought Anchorman was comedy gold. But i am skeptical of a sequel, i cannot see it being anywhere near as good.
