Typical scenario: I want to play GTA IV on PC after watching a few videos or
hearing it come up again, but of course that dreaded program Games For Windows Live is
in the way. These days I don't even bother, considering I need to go through login glitches,
updates, crashes and potential lost passwords from multiple accounts due to there being no
option to change your display name.

Anybody else sick of this awful program? It's not only GTA IV either, it's practically
-anything- else that requires it. Gosh, I love Microsoft and all, but this just sucks!

I've never had any problems with GFWL.

If it's giving you that much trouble, I suggest using xliveless.

Games for Windows Live doesn't affect my motivation to play. It only makes it burn more fiercely, as I would even more want to get my hands on GTA IV and play it.

Yeah, I just use XLiveLess, having to log in each time to start the game and have your save files stored away in the cache for GFWL instead of the games folder, etc, that kind of thing was just an annoying pain and time waster, I found using XLiveLess actually helped speed up the initial loading screen to!
