When I enter certain areas on vehicle in GTA: San Andreas, my game freezes and I am forced to force close it.

I have found only one area so far, but there may be more.

I have not tested if it happens on foot.

I have also recently uninstalled all mods that came with the game when I received it.

I do not believe that the game has crashed upon entering that area before I uninstalled the mods.

Any help?

Which areas crash the game? A crash near the SF docks may indicate a deleted import/export board, a fairly rare glitch. Crashes in areas with lots of objects, like Rodeo, may be caused if too many objects are active. You might want to try a clean install. Or, if the game doesn't crash for a new save (use cheats if necessary to check the affected areas) then that would point to a problem with your save.

I believe that when you purchase a legit game your problem will go away.
The legit game doesn't have any mods.
It's a Case of you buy the game, and then YOU modify it to suit your purposes/needs.

Where to (Buy) Download:
Direct2Drive.com (for PC and MAC)
SteamPowered.com

Rockstar Warehouse for boxed games:
Buy Now PS2, XBOX, PC.
Rockstar Site
Also generally available at on-line sites…
Amazon.com (I got a replacement copy for 10.00$US)
and,
E-Bay (you might find a First Edition if you’re lucky),
GameStop, K-Mart, Wal-Mart, and their dot coms, etc.
also, if you’re lucky some local Pawn shops, Swap meets/Flea Markets (But, beware of Pirated games. The Game comes on a single DVD not CD’s.
A Note for potential Modders:
Modding is easy with First Edition (Version 1 games are Hard to find).
Not so easy unless you work at it with Second Edition (Version 2 games on a DVD Disc. These are Currently available.)
Version 3 games are Not able to be Modded. (Downloads).
